Boulle style console with gilt bronze, circa 1880

Boulle style marquetry and gilt bronze console, all sides in marquetry with copper background and red tortoiseshell inlay with scrolls, arabesques and fleurons.
The top is curved, with a frieze in rais-de-coeur, the poly-lobed apron presenting in its center a sinuous cartouche with a mascaron surrounded by interlacing.
Legs of curved form ending in its ends by ornaments in bronze, in high part by espagnolettes with busts, on the right with decoration of an atlantean and on the left of a caryatid, in low part by sabots in leafy scrolls with in their center a shell.

French work realized circa 1880.
