Gilded wood mirror, Louis XVI style

Large Miror, Louis XVI style, wood and gilded stucco, original glass.

This large mirror is striking for the quality and multiplicity of its decorative motifs. Acanthus leaves, puttis, caryatids and masks form a beautiful and cheerful ensemble. The sculpture, precise and deep, stands out clearly and counterbalances the pure lines of the classical style frame.
NB: the glass is original, which means that slight pitting is visible. This effect is perfectly regular and is due to the manufacturing methods of the 19th century. However, if you are not happy with this, it is possible to have it replaced.
