The two characters are sat in front of the spectator. They are wearing large traditional clothes in the blue and green tones, one have Chinese white motifs on his tunique. Each wear a hat : red and black for one and black with white beads and a pendant for the other. One holds a book in his hand with mandarin inscriptions.
