Vase of the Manufacture of Sevres by Jean Mayodon

Large and beautiful ceramic by Jean Mayodon for the Manufacture de Sèvres. This vase can be adapted in lamp and presents a long conical collar on swollen base with two gilded side handles and pierced pedestal (of origin) in its center on quadrangular base out of blackened wood. Decorated with dancing characters, blue and green enamels on a cream and ochre background enhanced with gilding.
