Jacques Marie Omer Comoreyt, Fisherman at nightfall
Jacques Marie Omer Comoreyt was born on September 11 in Lectoure and died in 1963 in the Paris region.
In Paris he was a pupil of Leon Bonnat, Fernand Cormon and Albert Maignan. He distinguished himself at the salon of French artists and received numerous medals. A painter of seascapes, he particularly liked French, Italian and Oriental ports. But also genre scenes and interiors.
He is also an engraver and book illustrator.
