Poster by Firmin Bouisser for Chocolat Menier

Firmin Bouisset, born September 2, 1859 in Moissac and died March 19, 1925 in Paris, is a French illustrator, lithographer and poster artist.
He was received at the School of Fine Arts in March 1880 in the class of Alexandre Cabanel, and exhibited two paintings the same year at the Salon.
He became known especially for his advertising posters, including the small schoolboy LU biscuits, paper cigarette JOB, and the girl's chocolate Menier who was other than his daughter Yvonne he used as a model when the company he hired in 1892. The girl painting the name of Menier with chocolate will become the image of Menier before being taken on a large number of advertisements of the company Menier and its packaged products.
