Andry

Andry was a furniture merchant established on rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine under Louis and at the beginning of the Directoire, whose sign with the Golden Sheaf can be found on the furniture he sold to Parisians.

One finds from time to time in antique shops furniture that he sold and which sometimes still bears the label "chez Andry, La Gerbe d'Or, Faubourg saint Antoine à Paris." The last piece of furniture of this type seen was a flat mahogany and gilt bronze desk with three drawers.
