Biron market

Welcome to the Biron red carpet.

Open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, the market is also open on Mondays at the same hours, but it is recommended to come only on Saturday and Sunday if you want to take full advantage of the opening of all the stores.

Just like in Cannes, during the Césars ceremony, the alleys of Marché Biron see many stars parade through the flea market.

However, in order to take advantage of all the galleries and the riches they present, it is often recommended to come mainly on Saturday and Sunday.

Born in 1925, the Marché Biron owes its name to a family from Auvergne who bought the land on which a group of second-hand goods dealers threatened with eviction had settled. Building a set of stalls, they wanted to distinguish themselves from the competing markets of the time, which presented second-hand furniture and clothing in improvised thrift shops.

Federated by the same desire to present restored antique furniture, they made the brocante a success. The originality of their approach marks, in a way, the great beginning of the antiques business.

Directed by Mehdi, who can be seen regularly in the aisles of the village hall, the space now hosts important antique dealers.

The space now hosts important dealers of 19th century paintings, specialists in Napoleon III style furniture, luxury silverware and designer furniture.
