Christophe Wolff
Born in 1720, Christophe Wolff is of German origin. After having been a simple worker and then a free craftsman, he was received as a Master on December 10, 1755. He settled in rue Neuve Saint-Denis and worked there until the French Revolution. He signs his furniture C. WOLFF. His success means that some of his pieces are now in the national collections, in the Louvre and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
