Georges Pelletier
Ceramicist Georges Pelletier was born in 1938 and began working with ceramics in the 1950s.
Georges Pelletier is best known for his sculptural ceramics, which often have organic, flowing forms with bright, shimmering colors. He has worked in a variety of techniques, including stoneware, porcelain and raku. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, and some of it is in public collections, such as the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
