Henri Wirtz

Settled in Paris at the beginning of the reign of Louis XVI, Henri Wirtz was received as a Master on October 5, 1767 and had a workshop on rue du Sépulcre in Paris. 10 years later, he went bankrupt. His furniture, of which some examples in veneer have been found, are signed H. WIRTZ.
