Jean Bauch

Born on July 19, 1764, Jean Bauch was a craftsman from the Rhineland who settled in Paris where he produced mahogany furniture for the stores of the cabinetmaker J.-G. Frost. It must have been the proximity of his birthday to July 14, 1789, that made him decide to join the Bastille Day campaign a few days before his 25th birthday.
