Jean-Louis Bavant

Jean-Louis Bavant was received as a Master turner in 1758 and died in 1785. This profession, soon attached to the caste of carpenters and cabinetmakers, he became an influential member and had settled in rue Saint-Roch. He had several sales outlets in which one could find mahogany cabinetry, game tables, but also lathe objects such as spinning wheels and embroidery machines.
