Louis Aubry
Received Master in Paris on August 31, 1774, the workshop of this cabinetmaker was located on rue de Grammont before the Revolution and then on rue Saint-Nicolas until the Directory.
He signed his furniture L. AUBRY. Among the pieces that have been found and identified, we note furniture in marquetry enriched with copper in the taste of Delaroche; also a half-moon chest of drawers in mahogany from the Gutierrez de Estrada collection; finally, a piece of furniture in speckled wood, decorated with baguettes à l'Antique with bronze feet representing squatting sphinxes.
