Matthieu De Bauve

Received as a carpenter on August 1, 1754, Matthieu De Bauve lived in Paris, rue de Cléry. We still know today many seats stamped BAUVE.  Among the most remarkable, historians have kept track of a gilded wooden ceremonial seat, thought to be an episcopal throne, as well as a seat from the late Louis XV period.
