Michel Avisse

Michel Avisse is the first of a large family of cabinetmakers. His date of birth and death are not precisely known. However, we know that his name appears as a supplier to the Garde-Meuble in 1740, delivering a set of pieces for the Château de Choisy. At the death of his wife in 1744, the inventory still mentions a certain number of pieces of furniture such as folding stools and cane chairs.
