Roberto Mango
Roberto Mango (1933-2003) was an Italian industrial designer. He began his career in the 1950s and worked for many well-known Italian companies, including Olivetti, Brionvega and Kartell.
Mango was best known for his work in the design of electronic products, such as radios, televisions and tape recorders. He designed many innovative products that received numerous awards and contributed to the advancement of the electronics industry.
In addition to his contributions to electronics design, Mango has also worked on furniture and interior design projects, creating elegant and functional pieces that have been widely praised for their modern aesthetic and innovative use of materials.
Mango has won several awards for his work, including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award in 1962 and 1979, as well as the Good Design Award. His designs are now considered collector's items and are displayed in art and design museums around the world.
