Rock Crystal

The rock crystal is a stone of the quartz family which is distinguished by its transparency.

Used for its ability to reflect light, it has been used since the 17th century in the composition of Italian and French chandeliers. It has become the Holy Grail of antique dealers, but rock crystal chandeliers are very rare on the market today.

Some designers, like Alexandre Vossion, perpetuate this centuries-old art and revisit the world of lighting by proposing chandeliers, bowls and bedside lamps with a resolutely contemporary look.
