Wiesser

Wiesser, a journeyman cabinetmaker, also made himself known and noticed during the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789. He went to attack the fortress with 3 other young men, and was the only one to escape from a musketry shot. He was also found at 33 rue de Turenne where he later set up his workshop. Under the Empire, the imperial furniture guard ordered some walnut furniture from him in 1811.
