Fernand Allard l'olivier, Iris Bouquet

Fernand Allard l'Olivier was born on July 12, 1883 in a family of artists and craftsmen from Tournai.

His father Charles Allard and his three uncles Adolphe, Auguste and Charles Vasseur were all designers and had a lithography workshop. Her father was also a watercolor teacher. In 1901 he was enrolled in the Julian Academy.

A pupil of Bouguereau and Jean-Paul Laurens, then of Jules Adler, he settled for several years in Paris. he made many trips to Europe then he left for the Belgian Congo where he died in 1933. Museums: Brussels, Antwerp, Dinant, Pau, Lodz.
