Louis XV style chest of drawers attributed to François Linke

This exceptional chest of drawers with its curved shape and flared sides was made around 1885. Inspired by the Louis XV chest of drawers, it mixes cabinetwork from past centuries and Art Nouveau motifs with busts of winged women at the corners and garlands of leaves and flowers.

Unsigned, the chest of drawers is covered with a white marble veined with purple and gray. It opens in front of two drawers and two side doors placed at the ends.
