It is very rare to be able to exhibit a chandelier in this excellent condition. Our chandelier is in its original Mercury gilding and has kept all its original Rock crystal elements.

A magnificent and elegant chandelier in the Louis XVI style in finely chiseled bronze in its Mercury period gilding. It illuminates by nine arms of lights in the periphery. The decoration is finely chiseled and gilded bronze with heads of rams, flowers, Acanthus leaves, pine cones, and in the center a splendid bouquet of flowers. Our chandelier is embellished with decorative elements in cut rock crystal such as three incredible daggers, pendants, drops, pears, flowers, and strings of pearls. The lower part of the chandelier features a beautiful faceted ball made of rock crystal.

Beautiful and rare French Louis XVI style chandelier manufactured mid-19th-century circa 1850-1870.

In excellent fine original condition. The chandelier has been cleaned and it is in its original Mercury gilding of the period and all of its original Roche crystal elements. It is professionally wired for electricity.
