Frank Worth, Elizabeth Taylor Classic Portrait Set of ‘Giant’

Digital Gelatin Silver Print, with artist’s estate blind stamp lower right.

Playing socialite Leslie Lynnton in the 1956 film “Giant,” Elizabeth Taylor is captured here striking a coy pose for photographer Frank Worth between takes. Worth was given behind-the-scenes access on the set through his friendship with Taylor’s co-star James Dean. Known for her otherworldly glamour and beauty, Elizabeth Taylor won two Academy Awards during her career and was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute, who named her on their list of “Greatest American Screen Legends.”
