Arm light

Arm of light is a term belonging to the vocabulary of the luminary and that one finds until the contemporary chandeliers. It originally designates the torches that seem to hang on an arm coming out of the wall. Initially made of metal, the arms of light have adapted to the evolution of lighting to adapt to all available materials, Murano glass, bronze, etc.. We still speak today of arm-light for contemporary chandeliers, speaking then of the support from the central point to support the lamp.
