Gigi Sabadin
Gigi Sabadin (1930-2016) was an Italian designer, best known for his innovative and elegant lighting designs. He began his career in the 1950s and worked for major Italian companies such as Artemide, Flos, and Stilnovo.
Sabadin was noted for his lighting designs that combined modern aesthetics and advanced technology, creating elegant and functional pieces. He worked on lighting projects for public buildings, museums, theaters, hotels, and commercial spaces.
His designs were often characterized by their simplicity and minimalist aesthetic, as well as their use of non-traditional materials such as aluminum, glass and Plexiglas.
